The Faculty of Liberal Arts and Sciences (FLAS) in Budva, Montenegro, has launched its Summer School in Russian Language & Culture, taking place June 12 – August 7, 2026. This initiative creates a unique “beach university” experience, combining intensive education with the beauty of Montenegro and the Adriatic coast.

Program Overview

The eight-week intensive program includes 160 hours of classroom instruction and 120 hours of guided study, allowing participants to earn 12 ECTS credits. The Faculty of Liberal Arts and Sciences (FLAS) — the first independent Russian university in exile — has partnered with The Russia Program at George Washington University to create a summer school experience that is both academically rigorous and culturally enriching.
